Terms & Conditions

By using our website or placing an order with Editlance, you agree to the following terms and conditions:

1. Services

Editlance provides professional wedding video editing services for filmmakers and studios. All services are delivered remotely and include editing based on the selected package or a custom quote.

2. Orders & Delivery

• Clients may choose from fixed packages or request a custom quote.

• Delivery time for standard packages is 7–10 business days from the date footage and editing brief are received.

• Completed films and project files are delivered via a private Dropbox folder.

• Files will be stored for 60 days after delivery.

3. Revisions

Each order includes up to 4 rounds of free revisions. Requests beyond this may incur additional charges, which will be discussed and agreed upon in advance.

4. Payment

A 50% deposit is required before editing work begins, after all project details have been confirmed. The remaining 50% is due upon final video approval, prior to the delivery of final files.

All payments are processed securely through third-party platforms. Work will not begin until the deposit is received. Final files (including project files) will only be released once full payment has been made.

5. Refunds

Refunds are handled according to our Refund Policy.

6. Editing Style

Clients must provide a clear editing brief or a reference film. Editlance will match the requested style to the best of our ability. Creative results may vary slightly depending on footage quality and subjective interpretation.

7. Intellectual Property

• Clients retain full ownership of all raw footage and final films.

• Editlance does not use, share, or publish any client material without explicit written permission.

• By submitting footage, you confirm that you have the legal right to use and edit all materials provided, including music.

8. Confidentiality

Editlance operates as a white-label service. We work discreetly and do not disclose our involvement to your clients under any circumstances, unless authorised by you.

9. Limitation of Liability

Editlance is not liable for:

• Loss or corruption of footage or assets provided by the client

• Delays caused by incomplete or inaccurate instructions

• Any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages

Our total liability is limited to the amount paid for the project in question.

10. Changes to Terms

These terms may be updated periodically. Continued use of our services constitutes your acceptance of the latest version.
