Can I try your service before committing long term?

Absolutely. You can start with any single package—no minimum commitment required.

Is there a minimum number of projects I need to send?

No. You’re welcome to send just one project, or work with us regularly—we’re flexible to your workflow.

Do I need to sign a contract?

Not at all. You can use our service on a per-project basis. For ongoing partnerships, we’re happy to arrange a retainer or preferred workflow.

Can you edit Indian, Jewish, or multicultural weddings?

Yes. We’ve worked on a wide range of wedding traditions and will follow your brief closely to ensure cultural details are respected in the edit.

Who don’t you work with?

We don’t work with clients looking for same-day edits, AI-based automation, or projects outside the wedding industry. Our focus is on delivering high-quality, human-crafted wedding edits with a personalized touch.

How many people are on your team?

We’re a specialized team of 10 experienced wedding editors. You’ll work with one dedicated editor assigned to your projects for consistency. If your workload grows, additional editors may support—but your lead editor will always stay involved to ensure your style is followed exactly.

Is my footage secure?

Yes. We use trusted upload links and store all files in private Dropbox folders. Files are deleted after 60 days unless extended storage is requested.

Do you work with both solo filmmakers and studios?

Yes. We support solo filmmakers, small studios, and high-volume teams across the UK. Our workflow is flexible to fit your needs.

Can you work with different camera formats and frame rates?

Yes. We work with footage from all major camera brands and can adapt to your preferred resolution, aspect ratio, and frame rate.

Do you offer rush delivery?

Rush options may be available depending on capacity. Contact us in advance to confirm availability.

How is Editlance different from other editing agencies?

We specialize exclusively in video editing for wedding filmmakers—nothing else. Our service is designed to be fast, flexible, and fully white-label, with a strong focus on creative consistency and turnaround reliability. Unlike generic agencies, we understand the nuances of wedding storytelling and adapt to your unique style, not the other way around.

Is your service like hiring a freelancer?

Not quite. While we offer the same creative flexibility, Editlance gives you a full support system—reliable turnaround times, style continuity, project management, and secure file handling. You get the creative benefits of working with an individual, plus the professionalism and dependability of a studio.

What experience do your editors have?

Each of our editors brings 10+ years of experience in wedding filmmaking and post-production. From cinematic highlights to full-length documentaries, they’ve seen and edited it all. We follow your brief with precision—matching tone, pacing, and storytelling exactly as you envision it.

How many hours of footage can I send?

Each package includes up to 6 hours of raw footage (video and audio). For longer coverage, get in touch for a custom quote.

What software do you use for editing?

We edit primarily in Adobe Premiere Pro and provide the project file with the final delivery.

What if I want something specific like fast-paced edits or minimal music?

Just include that in your brief. We follow your preferences closely and aim to deliver exactly what you ask for.

What resolutions do you deliver in?

By default, we export in 4K unless otherwise requested. If you need HD or social cut-downs, just let us know.

What video formats do you accept?

We work with all major video formats including .MP4, .MOV, .MXF . If your footage is in a niche or less common format, just let us know—we’ll confirm compatibility.

Do you provide colour grading? Can you apply my LUTs?

Yes. All edits include cinematic colour correction by default. If you have specific LUTs or a grading style, just upload them—we’ll apply your look during grading.

Can you work with wedding footage in other languages?

Yes. We’ve worked with footage in many different languages. As long as your brief and any key instructions are in English, we can accurately follow your storytelling style, regardless of the spoken language in the footage.

Can I update my brief or add footage after submitting?

If the edit hasn’t started yet, yes—you can update your brief or add footage without issue. If we’ve already begun editing, we’ll do our best to incorporate your updates during the revision stage.

How long can I tweak the final video after receiving it?

You can request up to 4 rounds of revisions within 14 days of receiving your first cut. After that, we may charge a small fee for new changes, but we’ll always let you know in advance.

Where should I download my raw footage?

We don’t recommend downloading your raw footage again unless it’s missing or corrupted. However, if you’re looking for the best way to upload your raw files to us, we provide a private Dropbox.

What’s included in your standard editing service?

All packages include syncing, trimming, audio clean-up, colour correction, and storytelling. You also get a review link, up to 4 rounds of revisions, and final exports.

Will I receive a review link?

Yes. You’ll get a private review link to watch the first cut and leave comments for revisions.

Can you blur faces, logos, or remove unwanted audio?

Yes. We can blur faces, remove logos, mute sections, or clean up background audio as part of your custom brief. Just include those details when placing your order, and we’ll take care of it during editing.

Can you help with music licensing?

We source copyright-free music using your Musicbed account. If you use another platform, we’ll work with that too.

What about large or long footage?

Each standard package includes up to 6 hours of raw footage. If your event runs longer, includes multiple shooters, or spans several days, we can still handle it—just reach out and we’ll tailor a quote for the full coverage.

Is there a fee for handling large footage or multiple cameras?

Yes, projects that exceed 6 hours of footage or involve multiple camera angles may incur a small additional fee to account for the extra editing time. We’ll always confirm this upfront before starting the project.

My budget is lower than your prices. Can you cut me a deal?

We aim to offer fair pricing that reflects the time and care we put into each film. If you’re working with a tight budget, reach out—we may suggest a smaller package or simplified edit that fits within your range.

Can you work with wedding footage in other languages?

Yes. We’ve worked with footage in many different languages. As long as your brief and any key instructions are in English, we can accurately follow your storytelling style, regardless of the spoken language in the footage.

What’s the best way to organize my footage before sending it?

To keep the process smooth, we recommend organizing your footage into clearly labeled folders—such as Ceremony, Speeches, Reception, etc.—and separating by camera or date if applicable. The cleaner your folder structure, the faster we can begin editing.

How do I give feedback?

You’ll receive a private review link where you can leave time-stamped comments. You can also send written notes via email.

What files will I receive?

You’ll get the final video export, Premiere Pro project file, and any extras discussed. Everything will be stored on a private Dropbox folder.

Do I get the project file?

Yes. The Premiere Pro project file (.prproj) is included with your final delivery—ideal for archiving or future tweaks.

Can I get social media versions or vertical formats?

Yes, but please request this during ordering. We can prepare IG Reels, TikTok versions, or 1:1 crops on request for extra.

How many revisions are included?

Up to 4 rounds of revisions are included with every package.

How do I request revisions?

You can leave comments via the review link or email us clear notes. We’ll implement them promptly.

How long do you keep my files?

Your delivery files are stored securely on Dropbox for 60 days.

Can I request a custom package or send more than 6 hours of footage?

Yes. For longer events, second shooters, or multi-day weddings, we’ll create a tailored quote based on your footage and needs.

Can I send multiple projects at once?

Definitely. Studios often send 3–10 projects at a time—we’ll coordinate deadlines and keep everything organised.

Do you offer speech-only or documentary-style edits?

Yes. You can request a Speeches Film, Full-Length Documentary, or a combination. Just select your preferences during ordering.

Do you work with destination weddings or multi-day events?

Absolutely. We regularly work with destination weddings, multi-location events, and multi-day shoots. Just let us know the coverage details, and we’ll tailor a quote and timeline based on your project’s needs.

Do you back up my files?

Yes. All uploaded footage and project files are stored securely in private folders on our cloud system. While we’re not a long-term backup provider, we keep active backups during the editing process to prevent data loss.

How long do you keep raw footage or project files?

We store all raw footage, project files, and final exports for 60 days after delivery. If you need longer retention, let us know—we offer extended storage for a small fee.

Will you share my files with anyone?

Never. Your files are completely confidential. We don’t share your footage, edits, or project details with anyone outside our internal editing team. NDAs are available on request for added peace of mind.
